MES Basics: Bill of Materials (BOM) vs. Recipes Explained

πŸ’¬ In plain words: Before a factory can manufacture a product like medicine, it needs clear answers to two simple questions: What materials do we need (and how much)? and What steps do we follow to make it? The BOM answers the first question. The Recipe answers the second. ⚡ 1-Minute Summary A BOM (Bill of Materials) dictates the materials needed and the required quantities.
